ABC Island – meteor strike

May 6, 2007 by Metaverse Journal Editor 8 Comments

The Unearthed Club on ABC Island had a slight facelift over the weekend. The unconfirmed report is that in the process of returning objects from the ABC Sandbox, the previous upper structure of the Unearthed club ended up a crater. If this was indeed the case then a great patch-up job has been done:

The interior of the club has the meteor theme going, so even if the renovation was unintentionally instigated, its added something new. A thanks to Aussie SL resident Skribe Forti for giving us the heads-up on the meteor.

hi Lowell, yes indeed a minor meteor did strike. But we’re taking the opportunity to rethink how the Unearthed club works – should we open it up as more of a welcoming social space? we want to have gigs there in the future but in the meantime, what kind of social hangout space do people want? any thoughts, ideas, suggestions gratefully received. Personally i quite like the new version (check it out – the flames have gone and it’s a nice open space)…cheers, Abi

There is already a group of people that meet frequently at the sandbox. Maybe an open-air cafe-type situation – with stage if you want to do gigs – might work.

As a sidenote to this, while clearing a house in the sky,
which was approx 600+ prims, I also cleared someone elses
work. this was clearly not supposed to happen.

use the buttons in “about land” with *extreme* caution.

also… I’d be happy to do a live DJ event there but alas
no stream available at this time :/

    shuzbutt.
